Machine Gun Kelly

MachineColson Baker (born April 22 the 22nd of April, 1990) is a popular American rapper and singer. The rapper is known as Machine Gun Kelly (MGK) an actor, songwriter and performer. His genre duality in hip-hop and alternative rock is what earned him fame. He released four mixtapes from 2007 until the year 2010, after which he signed to Bad Boy Records. The debut album entitled Lace Up (2012 with a peak at 4th place on the US Billboard 200), included the hit track "Wild Boy" with Waka Flocka Flam. General Admission (2015) and Bloom 2017 were his second and third albums. The latter featured the hit single "Bad Things" that was performed by Camila Cabello. It reached #4 on the Billboard Hot 100. His fourth album, Hotel Diablo (2018) included rap rock. Machine Gun Kelly's fifth album, Tickets to My Downfall was released in 2020. The album represented an unorthodox departure from hip hop and a transition into the world of pop punk. It ranked first on the Billboard 200 and was the only rock album to achieve this rank. The track "My Ex's Best Friend" was also able to climb to the top 20 of the Hot 100. The album was followed by Mainstream Sellout (2022) that was a similar commercial success. The singer has appeared in the suspense film Nerve (2016) The thriller Nerve (2016), the horror Bird Box (2018) and the comedy Big Time Adolescence in addition to the biopic The Dirt (both 2019).
